The shipyard founded by Wilhelm Krüger (1905-1953) in 1934 is located in the idyllic boat harbor near Gottlieben, Thurgau on Lake Constance. He came to Gottlieben from the Baltic Sea in 1925 as a young ship’s carpenter and boat builder. He impressed his first Swiss customers with his exceptional craftsmanship in boat building and restoration.
He passed on the tradition of boatbuilding: his son Wilhelm Krüger (1939-2011) followed in his father’s footsteps at a very young age and took over the shipyard. He expanded the company’s fields of activity and successfully introduced new techniques.
